Anxiety Disorders Association Of Ontario –The Anxiety Disorders Association of Ontario (ADAO) focuses on the experiences and perspectives of people who experience anxiety.

Lifestyle Enrichment for Senior Adults (LESA) – This is a substance abuse and problem-gambling counselling service for seniors that is offered across the City of Ottawa.

Mental Health Crisis Line – This crisis line provides a toll-free phone access that runs 24/7, in both English and French. They provide screening, assessment, referrals, support in a crisis, suicide intervention, and a transfer to the Local Crisis Team or to emergency services when advisable.

Brief Description: The Walk-in Counselling Clinic offers counselling services in English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Somali, Cantonese and Mandarin at a variety of different locations. Clinic hours are available at different locations throughout the week, including evenings and weekends.

Brief Description: The Distress Line / Help Line services provide a telephone connection to mental health support and resources, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Mental Health Crisis Line
Brief Description: Provides screening, assessment, referrals, support in a crisis, suicide intervention and transfer to the Local Crisis Team or to emergency services when advisable. A crisis can include difficulty dealing with stress, overwhelming feelings, symptoms of depression, anxiety or psychosis, suicidal thoughts, or any concerns regarding your mental health or that of your loved ones.

Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario Hotline

Brief Description: Seniors Safety Line (SSL) is only a 24-hour crisis and support line for seniors in Ontario who have experienced any type of abuse or neglect. Callers receive emotional support, safety planning, information and referrals in over 200 languages. The SSL is a “senior-friendly” service with a live counsellor available to help navigate often difficult systems, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
