Booking an Appointment 

Do I need an appointment?

As a policy, we request that you call first to make an appointment for most issues. We only service patients registered to our clinic who have a scheduled appointments. 

​

What if I can’t attend my appointment/miss my appointment? 

​

Please notify reception 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel. Other patients need your appointment time if you cannot use it. Please be considerate. We understand that circumstances may arise that make keeping an appointment difficult, or impossible.

At the discretion of your doctor, you may get a follow-up letter and/or you may be charged for missed appointments not cancelled in advance.

How do I make an appointment?

Please call the clinic to book an appointment. 

 

Why do staff want to know my health concerns?

 

In order to see your doctor, you must make an appointment.  It is helpful for our staff to ask questions regarding the nature of your visit in order to assess your needs and the urgency of your appointment in order to provide appropriate care. Our team members are trained to follow the policies provided by your doctor.

I have an expired health card. What do I do? 

​

Expired health cards cannot be accepted. To update your card please go to the Ministry of Health Office located at 75 Albert Street or 110 Laurier Ave., West in Ottawa, or contact them at (613) 783-4400

Are all services covered by OHIP? 

​

The following services are not covered by OHIP. You may be asked to pay for these services at the time of your visit.

Current rates are posted at each clinic. 

  • Travel advice 

  • Mantoux Test 

  • Missed Appointment 

  • Forms (sick notes, back-to-work notes, etc) 

  • Procedures (skin tags, moles – shave, moles/cysts – excision, wart treatment)
